Frequently asked questions

Answers about course fit, lessons, toolkit, pricing and the course approach.

Is this course right for me?

It is built for three profiles: the fresh graduate who needs a map of the roles and a salary reality check, the career pivoter moving out of clinical practice or academia, and the stuck professional already in pharma who wants to advance or change function. The course is aimed mainly at pharmacists, though physicians and nurses benefit too. If none of those three profiles sounds like you, the course itself says it is probably not for you — and we would rather you know that before you pay.

Will the course get me a job?

No course can do that, and we will not pretend otherwise. What the course does is make you the most prepared candidate in the room: you will know every major function and what people actually do there, you will recognise entry points you had not considered, and you will walk into interviews and negotiations with a system instead of hope.

Who built the course?

The briefing is built by more than fifty senior pharmaceutical industry leaders — directors, vice presidents and global heads with ten to twenty-five years inside the functions they teach, not consultants and not academics. Expert list coming soon

How long is the course, and how is it delivered?

About 3.5 hours of video across nine chapters plus a wrap-up, delivered online in short lessons you can watch at your own speed. Most lessons also carry additional reading that opens alongside the video, and the course ends with a further-reading PDF of linked sources.

What exactly do I get when I buy?

Every video lesson, the Career Toolkit (PDF and an editable document with templates, checklists and frameworks), the Job Search Tracker spreadsheet, the per-slide readings, and the further-reading PDF. Higher tiers add live coaching on top of the same material.

What is in the Job Search Tracker?

A spreadsheet built around the twelve fields the course teaches — company, role, function, grade, date applied, stage, date of last interaction, next action, next action due, contact, notes and outcome. The method matters more than the file: never apply without entering it first, then review for ten minutes every Sunday evening, spot stuck applications, and plan the next week's outreach. The course's target rhythm is five to ten applications a week, two to three informational interviews a month, and daily LinkedIn engagement.

Does the course teach negotiation?

Yes, as a full system: five word-for-word scripts (opening, counter, stalled conversation, total package, closing), the five mistakes that quietly cost candidates money, and a weighted five-point offer evaluation covering cash, benefits, growth, environment and strategic value. You also get an offer checklist that runs from base salary against the band midpoint to bonus targets, car allowance, health coverage, training budget, review timing and probation terms.

Which pharma functions does it cover?

All of the core ones, each with a deep dive: Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs including the MSL role, Clinical Operations and clinical trials, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access and HEOR, Pharmacovigilance, Quality and Manufacturing, plus the supporting functions like Finance and HR. Chapter 9 answers one question per function: what does this person actually do all day?
